Midland Physiotherapy is teaching practice. This means we collaborate with universities to provide placement opportunities for student physiotherapists and sports therapists.

As a patient, it is likely that your physiotherapist will have a student with them during your appointment. In some cases, you may even be assessed and/or treated by a student. Patients have the right to request that a student is not present during their appointment. Students always have support and supervision from our specialist physiotherapists who are also experienced clinical educators.

We thank patients for their continued support in helping future generations of high-quality physiotherapists by consenting to students observing, shadowing or treating them.
