Midland Physiotherapy are committed to supporting universities with student placements. We have always supported students but in 2021 we included students and student placements as part of our 5-year plan with the aim of increasing our capacity for students placements by forming relationships with several universities.

At Midland Physiotherapy, some of our team split their time between lecturing in physiotherapy and clinical practice. We also believe that students get an invaluable experience due to the multidisciplinary nature of our clinical setting and our experienced team of consultant and advanced practice physiotherapists.

Our aim is to support the transition of higher quality student physiotherapists and sports therapists into practice. This includes upskilling them with manual therapy, electrotherapy, and rehabilitation experience. Furthermore, due to our highly skilled and experienced team, we can also provide students with an insight into diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging, independent prescribing, and injection therapy to support students future career progression and opportunities.
